According to legend, at the beginning of the last century, the Phantom passed near the port of Durban. He approached from the south side, went around Cape Bluff, but did not enter the port, but returned to the open sea. The Phantom was without flags and did not respond to signals, and on the deck only one blue-green light blinked. In general, it showed no signs of life, but only a few days later it was seen again, and much closer to the shore.
The ghost ship remained an unsolved mystery. According to one version, it was carrying out a secret mission, and according to another, it was abandoned by the crew during a storm, but the ship survived and has been wandering the oceans ever since.
Whatever happened to the Phantom, the Cargo Hold restaurant not only gives the legend realism, but also fills the atmosphere of a dinner there with especially romantic and unusual emotions that arise at the sight of sea predators. It doesn’t matter that the shark swimming in the aquarium is absolutely safe. Only the menacing appearance and its nickname of a killer fish make staying in the “hold” very, very exotic.
