Anniversary Of The Outbreak Of The April Uprising

In November 1875 activists of the Bulgarian Revolutionary Central Committee met in the Romanian city of Giurgiu and decided that the political situation in the country is suitable for general uprising. The uprising was scheduled for April or May 1876. The country is divided into five revolutionary districts with centers in Vratsa, Veliko Tarnovo, Sliven, Plovdiv and Sofia. The rebels were stockpiling arms and ammunition and even worked improvised weapons of cherry wood. In preparation for the uprising, the organizers abandoned the fifth revolutionary district in Sofia due to the poor state of the local revolutionary committees and moved the center of the fourth revolutionary district of Plovdiv Panagurishte. I promised to tell you about Samara flag. On the occasion of March 3, the day of the national holiday of Bulgaria Military History Museum in Sofia put the original in the Samara flag exposition hall. In the Chuprene reserve in Stara Planina, famous for its biodiversity, a rare flower grows. In 1977 UNESCO included the Chuprene reserve in its registers for protected nature territories.
