International Festival of Masquerade Games "Surva" in Pernik - Festivals

The festival is organized by the Municipality of Pernik in 1966. Since 1985 he has international status. In 1995 Pernik is accepted as a member of the Federation of European Carnival Cities. On June 26, 2009 during a solemn session of the Municipal Council in Pernik, FECC President Henry van der Kroon Pernik declared European Capital of Surva and mummer tradition. Rituals of Vasilovden - Traditions
